Tom and John Keane ride a couple of BMX bikes — or pretend to, with a shaggy dog between them — in a publicity shot for the singing siblings’ short-lived CBS variety program, The Keane Brothers Show, which aired in the summer of 1977. Tom Keane (on the “T” bike) went on to a solo career, collaborating with artists and songwriters, and grabbing a Grammy nomination for Chaka Khan’s “Through the Fire,” which he cowrote. John Keane became a busy composer and session drummer, writing music for such shows as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and The Amazing Race.
