Suzy Kendall rides a bike down a London alleyway, from 1968’s Up the Junction. Based on Nell Dunn’s book of the same name, the Paramount film follows Kendall’s young heiress, Polly Dean, as she flees the trappings of her wealthy family, goes to work in a candy factory and befriends some working class folk. Her new boyfriend, an assistant in a used furniture shop, aspires to move up the class ladder, while Polly has stepped off of it altogether. Manfred Mann supplies the songs.
