Nathalie Baye rides a bike, Michel Cassagne gets a grip.

August 25, 2022

A scene from Jean-Luc Godard’s 1980 film Every Man for Himself (Sauve qui peut (la vie)”), with Nathalie Baye riding a bike in the countryside, encountering Michel Cassagne along the way. “The plot. What plot?”  as Richard Linklater once joked about the film. Isabelle Huppert shares the lead, as a prostitute. Singer/songwriter Jacques Dutronc also stars, as a character named Godard.
