Disney canine star Goofy pedals along on a penny-farthing bicycle, saluting early auto enthusiasts Mickey and Minnie Mouse, in a still from the 1941 Disney short “The Nifty Nineties.” The ink-and-paint musical also features a scene with Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Huey, Dewey  and Louie on a bicycle-built-for-five. Walt Kelly and Ward Kimball were among the animators working on the classic cartoon.
