Dan Dailey and Betty Grable are a husband-and-wife vaudeville act in the turn-of-the-(last)-century musical comedy Mother Wore Tights. Alfred Newman won the Oscar for best musical, and the 1947 20th Century Fox release was a box office smash. The stripey couple had a bicycle in their act.
