Carole Lombard props herself atop the handlebars of Donald Haines’ bike, in a still from the 1936 Universal Pictures screwball romp Love Before Breakfast. Lombard portrays Kay Colby, a socialite torn between two prospective beaus  — Cesar Romero and Preston Foster. Haines, a child actor in the Our Gang and East Side Kids series, is giving Lombard a ride after Foster took her horse.
